RL Davis Moving & Storage was first opened in 1951 and served Rhode Island and surrounding families and business owners until retirement in 1999. Michael Hewitt, a lifelong Rhode Islander, continued the legacy of RL Davis with his loyalty to his community and customers for over two decades. Michael retired in 2024, passing the legacy onto Cheryl & Bob Nystrom. Coming out of retirement after running a successful moving and storage business for decades, they bring their experience in the industry and understand the challenges and intricacies of every move. Whether you are relocating your home or business locally or across state lines, we handle every aspect of the process with professionalism and efficiency.     I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this company. Weve used them a few times now and have had nothing but the best customer service, careful handling and peace of mind that moving (one of the most stressful times) will be handled with care. The guys have been courteous, on time and most important to me - they’re CAREFUL with my belongings. We previously used a different company and it was a nightmare, dented fridge, broken valuables, and literally gauged brand new floors. Since switching to RL Davis I don’t worry about my (or the family/friends I’ve converted to RLDavis) moves anymore. I know my property is safe. thanks so much! Will use you again for my next move!
